4.1 Cut fuel sensor:
4.1.1 The measurement of fuel tank height
4.1.2Clear Metal Crumbs
After cut the fuel sensor,It’s necessary to clear the metal crumbs in the bottom of the fuel sensor.
4.2 Calibration
Calibration is to do full or empty tank calibration. The basic priciple is that define the point for full& empty tank and
record a value respectively. When fuel level was changing, the fuel sensor would generate corrsponding signal change
then figure out the height of the fuel level.
Note:
Every time,If you cut the fuel sensor,You must recalibrate it. The calibration is related to medium detected and the liquid
height, having nothting to do with capcity. So the calibration can be done indoor.
The way to recalibrate the fuel sensor:
1) Press the button in fuel sensor
2) the configuration program
Calibration Circumstances:
1)On scence
2)Indoor (Make a container, fill diesel to simulate as a fuel tank)
We mainly introduce the calibration mode through button at present, full calibration should be prior to empty calibration.The fuel sensor should be powered on normally before calibration.
Note:
For this type of fuel sensor, It must be done full calibration firstly, and then empty calibration. Otherwise It’ s necessary to recalibrate fuel sensor again.
4.2.1 Calibration through button
Remove the top lip of fuel sensor by tool, see picture below.

4.2.2Full calibration
Step: fill the full tank, then insert the fuel sensor,wait about 1 minute.
4.2.3 Empty Calibration
Note:
For this type of fuel sensor, It must be done full calibration firstly, and then empty calibration. Otherwise It ’s
necessary to recalibrate fuel sensor again.
Step: Plug out the fuel sensor and place it outside of the fuel tank, wait about 2 minutes then do the empty calibration
after one minute
